Data-driven decarbonization at @electricitymaps.com
Almost certainly that guy you know from the internet.
There are 20 data centers between my house and the grocery store.
Posting through it since Prodigy and Procomm Plus.
Left of the dial.
Here’s my 26. If Adams and/or Musah are in form, they find a way in. I have no idea who starts in the midfield, which is good. Are we playing a 3-4-2-1 in the World Cup?!

Laundry day was eye opening! Those spikes in usage are the dryer. And it was the first time we said “eh, better do the other loads tomorrow during the day.” Measured; managed, etc.

We are less than 36 hours into being a rooftop solar household, and I have greatly underestimated my interest in electricity data about my own home.

The first 2 of 34 mentions of "Prime" on the NY Post homepage right now include literally the first non-navigation link on the page.
July 9, 2025 at 7:00 PM
And a strong counterpoint from the news org owned by Amazon (don't @ me about the details, I am aware of them), which only mentions "Prime" once on its homepage right now, and it's a negative story!
July 9, 2025 at 6:58 PM
At least this one relegates all the Prime Day stories to their own section, plus there's a paid ad. (Well, maybe it's a house ad for their coverage. Maybe they get an affiliate bump. Maybe.)

A startup wants to build modular AI data centers in close proximity to power sources. Wait until you hear which power sources they have in mind before you get too excited. www.latitudemedia.com/news/these-b...
