This is Moorlands school in North Leeds - like a mini Hogwarts - it’s easy to sneer that private schools are some kind of cancer, but now that it’s *gone bust* us locals have lost both a sports ground and a swimming pool that were used by the wider community.

I’d like to see more skin heads on British streets, I think they’ve been misunderstood historically, and when the skin head has matured it becomes much less intolerant of change… in humidity ;)

So these are the 80/20 bronze strings I wanted to put on with the new tailpiece - sounds really boisterous, a bit clangy on its own but could really power a group

Experimenting with a heavy “terminator” style tailpiece on my Clareen banjo - looks cools, opens up more options for different strings, provides maybe a bit more treble, on the downside perhaps a tad more “echoey” than the stock waverley style.

Does anybody know what this bug is? About an inch and a half long and actually squared up to us. Not scared in the slightest.
