I deleted social media for awhile because I reached a point of mental exhaustion from rejection after rejection in the #queryingtrenches

All I know is the latest book that I tried to query is my proudest work, but the constant NO dimmed my light and made me not want to write anymore.

Anyone else’s inbox been *crickets* lately lol probably a super busy time for agents all around right now. Wishing everyone the best of luck on their querying journey ⭐️

Is there a certain time of year where your creative juices are overflowing? For me it’s the fall when a new idea comes to mind & in December when I can’t possibly JUST keep thinking about it, gotta sit down and write it to life! Not sure why

Am I just really slow at filling out all the fields on query manager for my submissions, or is it normal to take ~20 minutes to fill ONE out 😭 and it wasn’t even one with a lot of fields to fill out lol

Has anyone tried qtcritique yet? The website developer is the same at QueryTracker/manager. It’s an AMAZING tool to get some beta readers to look over you queries, synopsis, opening pages, etc. and it’s FREEEE! I’ve had some amazing critiques so far & given some in return 👍🏻
