I literally had the exact same conversation with my insurance this morning. How weird.

It’s an easter egg/ reference to mechanical watches. If you look at almost any product shot for a mechanical watch the time is set to 10:09. This allows the watch hands to generally be out of the way of markings on the dial so you can see things like brand logo and date.

You don’t post often, but it’s always a gem.
