On Table C at 21:40, Tatsuo Sanae. This player's arduous practice made for the most unique tournament run so far. Using Sanae to advance through Kirisame Magic Shop during the first stage, he now sees a substantial buff to Summon Wind Tiles, as Jinkaze and Bakaze are worth 2 HAN EACH on Korindo.

Table B at 20:55 will feature the guaranteed dramatic elimination of one of these favorites... Izea Yorihime vs. Lucia Koakuma. Both of these players are hyper-aggressive specialists of their character. Will they use their knowledge of each other to gain points?

Our first player to watch out for is FILLIA. An OPTIMIZED Lily White main that makes the game a NIGHTMARE for everyone sat next to, or across from him. I speak from EXPERIENCE. His use of White Dragon Summon is buffed both by his technique and the table granting 2 HAN for dragon tiles.

Tables start at 20:15 on the 14th. All of the tables feature gamers with the odds against them, as ONLY 1st placements will advance on to Grand Finals. LET'S TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT THE PARTICIPANTS

Second stage on the 14th requires 1st place to continue on to finals and takes place on Korindo. I plan on restreaming a couple of tables from that too. More info to come as 2nd stage draws near.

Match 5:

Match 4, lost against these strong players by a hair while using Kanako. In retrospect, I could have used my ability a little bit differently in the early South round and it might have made the difference to place 2nd:

Match 3, despite my placement I felt very good using Hisami on this table and in this context as the limitations on her ability don't play much into how it's used. Riichi is weak on Magic Shop and players playing seriously makes for longer rounds where you get to use Seize Tenpai more reliably:
