OMG, I was just talking about this with someone else. Their daughter is into collecting 90s basketball cards, so I dug out my old collection...and it includes a number of those Star Trek TNG cards!

Fuck that shit. We must cheer each other up. This I have learned from turning fifty and encountering much problem. I must visit you and you must visit me. There is much to do.

Clearly, this is a symptom of the much larger Saxophone Deficiency Syndrome. Neglect of the reed instruments shows how far we as a society have fallen.

Where has the saxophone gone in modern popular music?
When I was a kid, the sax was cool I mean seriously cool, In the highly influential film;) "St Elmo's Fire" Rob Lowe starred as the college hero playing the sax. Nowadays it would be a guitar.... o...

The IT department I'm working with on my current Drupal project still considers it the standard in tandem with Redis, though there are new things coming down the pipe that they are researching. I know NGinx caching and Fastly have been mentioned in conversation, but they aren't making a change yet.

It won't be long now. Remember what Private Equity did to Toys R Us and G.I. Joe's!

Maybe not exactly like you, but I do it well enough to have a bunch of competition awards for it. One of my favorites!

Totally! So what was the song that you heard?

Your statement rings true for me as well, except for the Lupus and racism parts. I'm sorry you have to deal with that shite. In my case, it's just from living the nerd lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest. It seems to get worse as I age. Recent pic of me:

It's weird. Is there a coolness factor in play here that people are after? For example, have you ever encountered anyone that wanted to be a Pretend Latvian? I never have, despite there being nifty song festivals and that Midsommar documentary...just not cool enough in comparison, I guess.

Thank you. Now I want a Keytar.

Also, this was back in October of last year.

I lived in Seattle for 20+ years and I remember reading about her. IIRC, she showed up in QAnon and Sov Cit circles that caught my eye onine during the Bundy bird-refuge incident.

New Order provided a significant portion of the soundtrack to my middle and high school years, including my mother's descent into mental illness. Their 'Substance' album will always hold a dear place in my heart for getting me through those difficult years. 'Technique' kept me going. Good stuff!

The luggage advice alone was worth the ticket price.
