An important event in Dungannon tonight. Mid-Ulster PCSP hosted the Ending Violence against Women & Girls White Ribbon NI Awareness event. We all have the power to create change, to challenge others, and to shift society’s attitudes and behaviors towards women and girls.

Residents have raised the speed of vehicles driving into Riverbrook, Moneymore.
Children making their way to the playground are at risk from vehicles travelling too fast.
I have put a ‘Slow Down’ sign at the entrance to remind drivers to drive carefully. Hopefully this will have a positive effect.

Mary Lou talks as if her party aren’t in government in the North. So much of what she criticises the government parties for she could say about Sinn Fein the North. The hypocrisy. #primetimeleadersdebate #rteleadersdebate

2 decades talking about the creation of an Independent Environment Agency, to protect assets like Lough Neagh.

4 separate reviews (2003, 2006, 2011, 2019) into environmental governance. 3 consultations. A commitment in New Decade New Approach 2020

Today…a review. 🤷‍♀️
After the horrors of Mobouy and Lough Neagh, despite a promise in his party's manifesto, the Environment Minister has kicked an independent Environmental Protection Agency into the long grass with another review.

Will anything shame Stormont into protecting the environment?

The crumbling of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter must be arrested. Letting such an important part of our past and present heritage become an eyesore is a tragic symbol of this region’s lack of ambition.

The SDLP’s is putting this problem, and solutions, on Stormont’s agenda.

Ivana Bacik isn’t cutting in enough. She is being over shadowed by Peadar Tóibín. She needs to push in more. #RTEUpfront

Someone needs to point out to Mary Lou that @sinnfeinireland.bsky.social have been in power in the North for 17 years. Housing- lowest number of houses built since 1960. Worst health waiting lists in Europe. Schools crumbling. But they have a magic wand for the south?? #GE24

Gordon Lyon’s behaviour in the Assembly Chamber today was disgraceful and disrespectful. Well done @sineadforfoyle21.bsky.social for calling this out in the Chamber.
Disgusted that the Minister of Communities shouted at me twice to sit down as I was making a legitimate point of order regarding childcare funding. Aggressive, arrogant and have to say - doubt it would have happened if I was a man.

Stormont infrastructure funds could be used to help take Belfast's stalled Tribeca development into partial public ownership, the SDLP has suggested.

The party will today hold a debate in the Assembly calling on ministers to explore options for developing the site.
