One of my biggest cycling breakthroughs occurred about 5 years ago when I realized that I don’t have to wear cycling-specific gear to enjoy the ride. In fact, I’ve pretty much evolved to wearing a combo of casual and technical hiking gear and I’m far more comfortable than I’ve ever been.
