Can't shake how alarming this is. Not the attack, which is bad enough. Fox's gleeful airing of it. That no one at Fox seem to realize out how fucked up it is. The idea that people fleeing desperate circumstances (and Venezuela, of all places) deserve violence. It's just so goddamned bleak.
Last night Fox aired vigilante porn of some Guardian Angels beating a migrant and stealing his shoes while Hannity cheered them on.

Just keeps getting worse. It now appears that GA head goon Sliwa lied to Hannity. The guy wasn’t a migrant, and wasn’t suspected of shoplifting. He was apparently interrupting Sliwa’s TV interview. So they beat him. They just pretended he was a shoplifting migrant to inflame Fox viewers.

After this case there is no longer any need to even pretend that a single justice is motivated by the original meaning of the constitution, any justice who says so should have to raise their voice to be heard over the instant cacophony of laughter bsky.app/profile/rick...
It seems pretty clear from the questions from Roberts, Kavanaugh, Kagan, that the Court is likely to rule that states cannot disqualify federal officers under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, at least without congressional legislation.
