I created a petition to draw attention to this topic. It's about to end with less than 90 signatures.

I sent out a press release to journalists & political reps, and shared it widely - but all to no avail.

Lincoln showed what good leadership looks like. We don’t have to settle for this crop of ineffective leaders; we deserve better, we need better, we can have better - Lincoln is proof of that. Our desperate times call for such leaders to urgently arise.

Lincoln was one of the greatest leaders the world has ever seen. He had wisdom, empathy, compassion, strength, morality, and (to borrow Doris Kearns Goodwin’s term) political genius, in spades.
