Yep. Mixed fleeta offer better overall capability. We don't need every fighter to be a stealth attack plane. The Gripen is more than effective for 95%+ of the missions the air arm has flown over the last 30 years. Better availability. Lower operating costs. No need for special hangers.

You would think Trump's regime would innoculate every other western country from any daring to ever again vote for populists and conservatives.... but no. We are dealing with large segments of society that have been radicalized aginst critical thought.
