2/n e.g. Height is a heritable trait. Tall parents generally have taller offspring. this is measurable against a population group having two arms however, is not a heritable trait; almost everyone has two arms and for people who don't have two arms that variance is usually environmental in nature

Is it possible for us to live in a world where sentiment and attention is less fungible with actual money?

The system feels very loony right now and it only follows that Trump's main mandate is to grab attention by stirring emotions for the financial benefit of his billionaire syndicate.

Hype cycle me once shame on you hype cycle me thrice shame one me. The returns from earlier hypes are undeniable (e.g. 3D printing) but modest and gradual.

My frustration is how the accumulation of social and political power is inseparable from the manufacture of hype.
