Spence was with him but, wrongly, seemed to ease up because he thought Danso was clearing it. Not sure if it was an error on Danso’s part but hopefully Spence has learned to always follow

As much as we all enjoyed Arsenal and then Chelsea’s slide into mediocrity before rebounding back as genuine title challengers did we really think we’d be that different? Would we not take a year like this if it meant building to something better next year like they did?
