The consumer backlash once people realize how far-reaching and broad the language is will be immense. Legislators will rue the day they misunderstood the impact of the hemp ban on farmers, jobs, consumers, and the economy.

At some point or another, even briefly, processors and manufactures will have to have in their possession an illegal amount THC in their product. Which means federally the production of CBD will become illegal. CBD dog treats, tinctures, lotions, you name it, will become technically illegal to make.

The biology of farming this crop certifies the destruction of the whole domestic farming industry. Stated levels are so restrictive that CBD products will not be able to come from farmers. They will never be able to grow the crop to be low enough in THC to then be able to process out just CBD.
