Yep, nailed that decision.

100% yes. He wants to be up there doing that job. He is a goal scorer and just needs to be in that role to do it. More will come, and hopefully this Friday! Ideally not too much rotation from KmC but we know it’s happening to some degree given how many games we have in this short space of time.

Dead chuffed he got that goal. He looked so panicked that it was going to be called offside, and boy he needed that to count to help his confidence. Hopefully he kicks on from here as there's a top-top player in there. #itfc

There’s a certain collective among our so called fans that just cannot handle change. They clearly can’t put 2 and 2 together of how football clubs works 😂

He wanted more playing time, and I think with the competition for the no.10 role, knows he will be limited. The fact it's back to Pompey would suggest he knew it was on the table whenever he wanted to get playtime elsewhere. Good on him, and at least it's a loan for now. Good for both clubs + player

Absolutely agree. It wasn't instant at all the first time, and it will probably be even harder this time now that there is a hangover from all the good times we have had the last few years. So patience is key, I expect us to be in much better shape as a team by the end of October.

TL/DR: Ipswich must ditch sentimentality, bring in creative talent, and accelerate upgrades—no room for stagnation if they’re serious about a swift, lasting return to the Premier League.

4/4 They’ve had a taste of that exposure, this all feels very much like they want that back without wasting any time and they want it to stick.

3/4 Football has moved on so much, it’s really hard to keep up but it’s clear from the investment the club is pumping in that our owners don’t want to just be a club that is happy sitting still, they want to get back to the PL asap.

2/4 We need strong creative players - we can’t be a small team going forward across all positions.

If we aren’t moving forward by improving the players we have - what’s the point I say.

1/4 I think with all the players who went up to the Prem - we can’t get sentimental over any of them as they clearly couldn’t step up. So why spend a year with them trying to get back when we need to evolve and be better for whenever we get back to the PL.

Impressive business all round.

That’s true. Broadys was one of the best!

And if we are getting Azon in from Como, he seems like he could be a decent signing. Very young, raw but looks calm in front of goal which we desperately need.

How do I think Sunday will go? After 1 league and 1 cup game, it will either be a painful one to watch or a return to form! #itfc
