You're over paying for prompt tracking.

@serprecon.com is just $0.02 per prompt per report (based on 25 prompts per report) across 3 AI engines - and also tracks organic rankings for them too.

You can run once , daily, weekly, or monthly. serprecon.com

got google's new Mumvera working - my own python implementation based on the logic in the research paper, using a pre-trained colBERT model. Can see how for this query of "seo" and my weird test cases, it outperforms straight cosine similarity.

It's kind of ironic that AI mode just gave me a list of 10 blue links.

When I speak at conferences friends only send me pictures of my weird facial expressions

Playing with the new version of @serprecon.com in staging. Can NOT wait to launch this in the coming days. Ya'll are gonna love it - and those not using it will be left behind.
June 1, 2025 at 2:59 PM
yes, when I do a site: search, an AI explanation of how the operator works is exactly what I wanted. Sigh.

Here's a fun one. Google recommends going to the Dodge website to find a Jeep dealer - but then doesn't link to it. Not sure how AI won out here over a map pack - but the buried first result is the actual thing people want. Not anything listed in AI here.

We're now capturing AI overviews and citations in SERPrecon.com - we're not stopping there. Many more features involving them coming in the new couple weeks - but couldn't wait to get that live.

I also decided to vectorize every page on my friend's site and compute the top 3 "outliers" - with the greatest avg distance to all other pages. Because, why not? Here it correctly identifies the one blog post about coaching basketball as the biggest outlier for this web development company.

I have to admit this is kind of fun.

Playing with one of the latest versions of an open source BERT model. Reducing vectors to 2D to graph them is fun. Then I decided to see how certain terms stack up politically.
April 14, 2025 at 5:16 PM
ok I'll jump on the trend.
April 11, 2025 at 2:47 PM
