Open source can be hard sometimes, especially at an emotional and community management level. I’d recommend looking at a project where you know the domain well or are interested enough to dig in deep and really take some time with it!

That’s great! It’s going to simplify an alias I have that current has to parse the current branch and store it in a variable.

For now I’m just using it in my fork of django/deps. Integrating with GitHub, but no collaboration yet. I think it’ll be okay for this project, but I still have questions about collaboration and pairing.

Because I’m a sucker for finding better ways to do the stuff I already know how to do.

Graphite has been good, but seems to layer on complexity. GitButler is cool, but it’s just a GUI, and I love the CLI. jj has me rethinking what good vcs is again in deep ways, and I’m really enjoying that.
