It’s occurred to me that to be a working film director you need to also be an active Producer. Take the bull by the horns, take control of your own destiny. Never wait for permission as it’s likely never coming.

#indiefilmmaking is usually such a fast moving beast, it's rare to have days where the director & DP can really embrace a location. I love the cabin scenes in Mercy Falls - we put in some serious camera & lighting design. These scenes are peak Rhodes!
