Also Cassian Andor’s character holds a lot more depth in Rogue One because of the show.

But overall yeah I agree with you, I thought Rogue One was fine when I first watched it a decade ago, but not overly memorable at the time to me.

I watched Rogue One pretty much immediately after finishing Andor. I just think the theme of personal sacrifice for the sake of a collective hope/idea gets really enhanced in RO by Andor. Like you said, the 3rd act is great and is only made better by the show.

Andor made Rogue One way better too imo. Just gave some dialogue and certain scenes a lot more with the added context. Such a good series.
