I don’t disagree. I think it could splinter by sport. Similar to streaming television, you may just have to maintain multiple apps for multiple interests. Which, ironically, pushes me back to centralized catch all news sources (like the athletic /NYT) because I can cover everything in one experience

I don’t mind if it’s a social eco chamber. It helps remove the toxicity. But, what I do worry about in Bluesky having staying power is if reporters I like on non-politics topics don’t move over because their personal political beliefs. Coverage gaps make it hard to fully replace Twitter.
