I think there’s some IRA benefits to non-profits and schools that make these projects start to pencil out. They can get direct pay instead of the 30% tax credit.

I get the power of showing up, but as parents of small kids the evening and long drag out meetings are brutally exclusive. And it never feels like a email to council members carries the same weight. Wish there were other avenues to show civic engagement. Do any other RI towns do things better?
