He’s a fine utility guy. I don’t know that I see him as a starting caliber player on a championship team. Perhaps if you had a team full of superstars around him. The M’s don’t though. I root like hell for the kid. Seems like a great guy. I just don’t know that I see him as the long term solution.

They just need a lot more from him. I’m fine with struggling, just at least show growth through it. Have good AB’s, work counts, take pitches. Hopefully today was a sign of things to come. He whacked that ball pretty good.

Or better yet just sell it to someone who can actually afford to compete.
