No one in Germany ever came for the rights of Aryan Germans who were not educated and did not dissent. Intellectuals were forced to leave Germany pre-WW2, or face reprisal. As long as the uneducated, Aryan German went along, they were fine. Unfortunately, this is the lesson MAGA took from WWII.

From the moment I started in this conversation, not once did I mention politicians. That's because I wasn't talking about politicians. I think you need to do back and read the conversation. I was explaining why federal employees can't fight back as easily as everyone thinks they can.

Why do their jobs depend on our votes? They're civil servants. Our votes have nothing to do with their jobs. The vast majority of federal employees vote Democratic anyway.

Easy for us to say. I can fight. I work for myself. I have my own retirement plan. I have no kids. Literally, their entire lives are wrapped up in the government. Their income, their retirement, their families' wellbeing.
