This has died out with the rise of the gastropub and the clientele it is aimed at. You really have to work hard now to find a pub where it still goes on

I watched it on a Sunday afternoon once, work dread already approaching. Very powerful film, but not a good idea at all.

Think the other photo is a separate one - not taken when they were injured.

We've also had decades of advertising and marketing from the car industry to sell these as lifestyle extensions. Few other products have quite the same reverence for some people
