This evening I painted for the first time in over a year. Very rusty. Have to get my technique back through practice. Went for a blue overcast hazy ocean sunset kinda thing. Ashley is working on one of her many knitting projects. Just a couple artist doing our thang while watching US Open.

Watching one of my favorite films of the last 10 years, Steven Spielberg’s “Bridge of Spies” (2015). Saw it opening weekend. I love everything about it.

Tonight’s film. “The Lady Vanishes” (1938) Early Hitchcock. Love this. —-While travelling in continental Europe, a rich young girl realizes that an elderly lady seems to have disappeared from the train.
