With voting now open, I am delighted to have the support of Morven Ovenstone-Jones, Co Convenor of North East Fife Branch and recent Fife Co Convenor.

"Ryan has the vision and drive to deliver for communities across Scotland. That's why I'm backing Ryan Blackadder for Mid-Scotland and Fife #1"

Scotland is facing an influx of foreign investment in our community clubs. We must protect these much loved assets for years to come by putting the real ownership in the hands of the people who care the most.

We should legislate for fan ownership of football and sports clubs in Scotland.

Football is back today but can I enjoy it with a cold beer? No. I could if it was rugby..

Football in Scotland is still a working class game but only in expensive hospitality suites can you enjoy a pint.

End the alcohol ban, help clubs make profit, respect fans. It's simple

We need more houses and we need them now, but where does that leave us in 5 and 10 years?
Without enough schools, doctors, dentists, sport and leisure facilities, public transport and community spaces.

If you are building a new estate of houses, you must build a new community.

Scots deserves a fairer deal. More money in their pockets from cheaper bills and lower taxes.

Tax the super-rich. Reform our outdated council tax. Fund local services properly - for people and planet.🌍

Back Blackadder #1 in Mid Scotland and Fife to lead that change.

One of the Scottish Green's proudest successes is the Under 22 free bus travel. Now we must keep extending it.

I would pursue expanding the eligibility to Under 25s and those on low income.

Transport is our biggest polluter & a huge personal expense. It must be affordable to leave the car at home.

We’re sitting on a goldmine of green potential in Mid Scotland & Fife and yet it’s being wasted.

While other parties drag their feet, we’re ready to invest in people, protect nature and show the world our natural wonder.

I'm the one to help get it done. 🌍 Vote Blackadder #1

Excellent day in Cupar yesterday for the @fifegreens.bsky.social AGM. A great turn out and an excellent walk down the river Eden afterwards (with tour guide supremo Fergus).

Lucky to have such an energised branch, ready for another campaign year 🗳️

Talking about Council sizing and efficiency isn't sexy, but it's important.

Next year will be 30 years since Scotland's Council set up was last reviewed and altered. For some, they are set up correctly - Fife is not.

Lets review our Councils and start by splitting Fife Council up!

Who better to speak up for the changes needed to enhance our railways than an actual Railwayman?

We need faster electrification, investment in new lines and creating stations to connect communities - new and old.

I can be the MSP Mid Scotland & Fife needs to get rail “back on track”

Mid Scotland & Fife has huge potential for community energy – putting power (literally) back in local hands.

As your MSP, I’ll back towns and villages to set up repair hubs, food networks, and local energy projects that cut bills and build resilience.

I'm standing for the Scottish Greens - Mid Scotland and Fife list.

We don't talk enough about Independence. What it means, how we work together to achieve it and how it would change people's lives for the better

Scotland has a radical history, it's future can be the same.

🚨🏃‍♂️Blackadder is running!

Excited to announce I am standing for selection on the Mid Scotland & Fife list for the Scottish Greens.

Now is the time for young, fresh, trade unionist voices to stand for our party and deliver a record result to Holyrood!.. 1/3

Brace yourselves for this one… 🫣😂

Ash Regan isn’t fit to be a member of Parliament. It is beyond comprehension she was previously a Government Minister.

This is the quality opposition the ALBA party are serving up. They are finished.

Incredibly grateful to Patrick for his dedicated leadership, his guidance and his friendship.

The party and our movement wouldn’t be at the heights we are now if it hadn’t been for him.

Now we continue the fight together, I’m glad he isn’t ready to put his feet up just yet.

News anchors and CEOs alike fear the very mention of his name. His leadership through COVID and during deep political upheaval in Britain will be his legacy and I hope he continues to lead from the front in his retirement. All the best Mick

🚆More diesel misery for Fifers as the Scottish Government ditches commitment to decarbonise the network with electrification by 2035.

Years extra of missing carriages, later than needed first trains and early than wanted last trains.

Fife is never Scotrail's priority.

🏴‍☠️ Dug out my trusty flag today to join @rmtunion.bsky.social colleagues campaigning outside of the Scottish Parliament to protect Scotrail staff from harsh cuts to ticket office opening times.

These cuts are bad for passengers and terrible for staff. The Transport Sec must end this threat now.
