Imagine being told in summer 2013 that, in 2025, Liverpool will follow up equalling Man Utd’s tally of titles by beating Bayern to the signing of the best young star in Germany. Meanwhile United, after finishing 16th, are competing with David Moyes’ Everton for a player who’s just been relegated
