I'm relatively new to the whole Panda Express thing. In college there was one in the student union & it never seemed appealing to me so I never bothered with them. After the first one I was out. There was just too much filler or allusions to the LOTR movies. This year I found the fan edited version that stripped all the unnecessary filler out & tried to keep close to the original story & it actually works.

My wife made me watch this one time. I already loathe Andrew Lloyd Weber musicals. This adaptation just solidified my loathing.

I remember watching it in the theater & constantly thinking, "What is this movie?" I was so confused cause I felt like the set pieces & styling were so unique I should be really into this but at the same time the movie just seemed to plod along. Still liked the L.L. Cool J camouflage gags though.

Pretty good if you like chicken and chunks of mushroom. It's as inoffensive of a dish there is because it's not too heavily seasoned. I feel like the flavors aren't as strong compared to my local Chinese buffet but it's still good enough for one of my go to's.
