Just happy to be here
Just happy you’re here
I run a good bit
New trials standards are brutal but it’s gonna be a great couple years to go for high placements at NYC and Boston. Chicago is gonna be a hot ticket.

Signing up for NYRR races is so miserable these days. Happy that more people are finding the sport, but man it sucks that so many dedicated runners miss out on racing to fuel the 9+1 machine

Every time I get an email from the NYT it’s either like “Here’s a great pastry recipe that anyone can follow!” or “Trump signs executive order to remove traffic lights, gives tax cuts to businesses that emit more CO2”

Checking every used bookstore like I’m John Cusack in Serendipity but instead of looking for a girls number I’m looking for a copy of Marathon Training: A Scientific Approach by Renato Canova

Also, it’s race day! Running a 3k at the armory, haven’t spiked up in 5 years, haven’t raced a 3k in 7. Should be fun!

I think the way you fix the Boston Marathon qualifying problem is to make it not a world marathon major. This is a good idea.

Super cool event, love that there will be an annual marathon equivalent of Project 13.1 from Trials of Miles. Probably could’ve justified the trip to Arizona as a fun vacation. I know it subsidizes the pro field, but the $500 entry for the sub-elite field is HEFTY
It’s back. The Marathon Project, a then-professional-only race held during the pandemic in 2020, will return in 2025 as an annual event open to both amateurs and professionals.

First time ever hitting 3k miles in a year, 2 years in a row over 2k for the first time ever. Consistency is fun!
