Keeping him was short term.. they are rebuilding and needed the money for other spots.. no way Barkley comes close to the year he had if he stays a NYG. Schoen has made mistakes but not paying Saquon was not one

Explain to me why they should have paid him..
they didn’t trade him which was a mistake but the Giants win maybe 2-3 more games with him this year
