What software you using to render that out? I'm using twin motion at the moment to just figure out scale ATM. But will likely do the texture work in blender and final render in EU5 (whenever I figure those 2 out.)

Using this as a reference, the lighting could come down from those large shafts above and the arcs from below. The scale gets all messed up while using this image to, makes the cavern look much larger than the previous panel.

Though I think a lot of how well it'll look will be mostly up to the color grading and overall mood I'll try to show. It looks good with a bright white light but that could change when I start adding textures and shadow. The colored parts of the manga are very grimy browns with blue /red highlights.

Good ideas, I think one of my first renders just had everything uniformally light and it ironically looked the best. ATM there is a large area light in that upper right crevice. Along with some area lights above. I like the arcs being additional lighting sources, probably have them linger.

Also in the manga it's shown that light comes from the very yop of the megastructure to provide a day/night cycle so maybe adding a medium intensity area light would work if you stretch it across the scene as if it stretched across the entire area

I got away from rendering for a moment to check out some things online only to see this post lol. This scene is driving me nuts trying to figure out how to light it.
