Just looked up champions by number of defenses they had. Kurt Angle had 23 defenses in about 4 months. Jericho had 20 in just over 3.

I haven't followed the case too closely but I've heard from others that he doesn't appear to be too concerned with getting caught. I think they found a coffee cup with his DNA on it. He lowered his mask despite knowing what he was about to do, etc. I'm sure he'd like to get away with it but...
