To be fair, hunting families tend to expose their kids to dressing game at an extremely early age (my family was often before grade school). I don't think it ends up being an overly healthy experience, though maybe it'll come in handy if things keep going the way they are who knows.

I think many people in that camp lack the imagination to conceive of a world where people get medical care because they need it, not because they can afford it.

And they just think about where those people could exist in the current system where it won't affect them. I doubt it's deeper than that

It's almost like you want them to feign journalism

The system of abusing and exploiting people domestically doesn't stop at our border.

The thing about it, is it was only good if you were an American or valued by Americans, and the notion it was beneficial for all is backed by a false sense of peace.

I'm not saying some of the programs weren't a net good for the world, but it's not like we were doing it for the benefit if others.

There's very little that python can't do, where a using system to call bash in 2025 would make sense ... But maybe that was part of the joke

If it takes even 45 minutes of his mental faculties or schedule to be concerned about his hair, that's 45 minutes less he's spending causing national security issues

He has no qualms about criticizing or adversely affecting people on basic human rights topics, I think we're allowed to both be critical and unfair in our assessment of Hegseth's hair.

Does it suck? Sure, *but it sucks for everyone*, not just those most at risk and vulnerable

If we make the economy a topic, it gets fixed, it satiates them back into supporting him, so let's not fix that. Get wins on real humanitarian and existential threat issues, and keep his single issue supports fuming

and not give them wins on the single thing they care about.
April 20, 2025 at 2:02 AM
Not to mention, the economy now is what the people that support him voted for.

The only people *surprised*+upset about the economy are single issue Trump supporters, which is why they want to make it news. The rest of us expected this shit show, so we should absolutely keep owning the narrative
