I’ve never thought about any of my characters through that lens, and it’s never impacted how I write them. Though we do have an upcoming idea about a couple people investigating a murder at a nudist resort, could be ripe to explore such things… 🤔

Is…is that something people write about? It’s never come up in anything I’ve written.

Honestly, I would just steer into that skid. English is the best language for pioneering whole new made-up words because it’s already so replete with garbage nonsense.

This is maybe less age-related than just the specific media I was exposed to, but I to this day primarily recognize Paul Reubens as the voice of the alien in Flight of the Navigator.

I really need to be better about setting the scene. I see it in my head but tend to sort of skip over when I’m writing, then I have to go back and add it later.

It has been, by a significant margin, the most stressful year I have experienced.
