“O' beautiful, for spacious skies
Now those skies are threatening
They're beating plowshares into swords
For this tired old man that we elected king” - Don Henley, The End of the Innocence
You cannot tell me that the wealthiest among us aren’t making bank on this economic disarray while the rest of us suffer.

If they weren’t, it wouldn’t be happening.

If you haven’t seen the MapQuest Gulf of… generator, check it out. It allows you to rename the Gulf of Mexico to whatever you like. Like “Gulf of Small Penises” for example.

Mapquest, by the way, is not changing the name on their maps.

“Leave it to the states!”

Unless the states don’t want what they want.

“Parents know what’s best for their kids! Not the government!”

Until parents aren’t white Christians.

A friendly reminder that there have been, and will continue to be, far more unqualified people hired as a result of lack of DEI initiatives than because of them.

It is as it has always been. Don’t give someone else the same benefits I have because I am scared to compete on an even playing field.

Me: drinking coffee at 6am waiting for our flight back to the US.

Wife: won’t that keep you up?

Me: coffee is last on the list of all the things keeping me up about flying back to the US

DEI ≠ “settling”

DEI improves orgs by expanding access to qualified people by including a wider range of views and experiences (Diversity), and giving each a fair chance at the role (Equity) without regard to who they worship or love, what they look like, or any number of other factors (Inclusion).

I’m so glad trump is focused on the key issues Americans are worried about and driving down prices on day one.

Food prices have been climbing, but those producing the food are not seeing any of the benefit. What do we do? Send them $billions.

No wonder they aren’t worried about another trump term. He just keeps sending them money to grow crops we don’t use.

Government efficiency my friends.

If we reallocated the subsidies today doing the most harm to our public lands, into projects that promote wildlife and safer roadways, like wildlife overpasses and wildlife safe fencing, we'd save countless lives and roughly 8 billion a year in wildlife vehicle collisions.
