My latest in punch needle rug hooking. A color study and my first geometric pattern, 8 1/2 inches square. Punched with Briggs and Little Rug Yarn using an Oxford No. 10 regular punch needle.

Here is one of my finished rugs. This is a wall hanging but can easily be converted to a floor rug.

What makes for punch needle rug hooking?
I use these materials and tools: three ply rug yarn, a punch needle that the yarn easily moves through (I use a large Oxford Punch Needle), and a type of monks cloth that has 12 holes per inch with two threads between each hole.
