Western or Ashland (maybe California) seem to me the best North-South routes to tie in existing density & train stations.

Western has always been my proposal because its so wide and uninterrupted, the ROW is already there if you knock out some car lanes.

Just an observation but Schumer (first elected in 1980) and Durbin (first elected in 1982) are basically products of the Reagan era and believe that Republicans are the rightful rulers of the country and should be treated accordingly.

Not to be “my issues are the important issues” but there has been some easy wins for CTA (Dorval, financial cliff) and housing (alderman prerogative, ADUs) that BJ hasn’t been interested in stumping for.

Michelle Bachmann ran for President in 2012 and got 6th in Iowa.

I think the Trump rallies probably weren't that effective at voter persuasion but as a show of force to local and elected Republicans they were definitely part of the equation and his handlers don't trust him to stand up there and throw fastballs these days.

Which since he’s the son of the prior (pretty pro growth) alderman, I assumed he’d have similar views but tbd since he didn’t have to campaign or anything to get this job.
