I agree and this format is dumb, but they do and Nascar fans are gonna complain either way. Fans got mad that Jimmie Johnson or whoever would’ve already claimed the title 10 races into the season without a playoff. They’re never gonna make everyone happy.

You can have a great regular season and have a bad playoff in any sport that has a playoff. Motorsports included.

How often does the number one seed in any other sport win the championship? Football fans don’t freak out about format whenever the team with the best record in the regular season doesn’t win the Super Bowl. I don’t understand this reaction in Nascar.

The 5th grade teachers at my kid’s school tell all of the parents “you may not think your kid needs it now, and maybe they don’t, but at some point they will. So save us the trouble of having an embarrassing conversation and have them start wearing deodorant now.”

It hasn’t worked out great for MLS, I’m not sure why they think this is going to work out better. I live in Kansas City and used to regularly watch sporting KC games. Since they moved to Apple TV I regularly forget that Kansas City even has a team.

I beg the young people not to drink AT ALL at work functions. I have stories about coworkers who did not take this advice. You do not want to be the main character in these stories.

That was the coolest thing about the Chicago Street race…seeing the reaction of everyone in the crowd who hadn’t been to a race before when the cars came by under green the first time.
