You do much better twice a year.

You're on social media too much.

CS translates well to other fields. Even if the field changes a lot, the fundamentals apply across more areas than any of the new developments, even AI.

Note that the red part is mostly likely only a sleeve. The book itself is just plain white with at most a tiny graphic. The printing standard is likely also poor.

I can't tell if it's a cultural preference or all in the name of profit. A huge majority of Chinese books are printed like this.

Send to be the norm, unfortunately. Chinese book covers are also boring by default.

Fantastic! Thanks for these; I'll read them later.

Do you have a source for this? How does one measure empathy in such a way that we can be sure this is true?

As a child I read both my primary school and high school libraries back to front, and I believe that my empathy is "good", but it's difficult to quantify.

I suggest "Efficient Linux at the Command Line", but ultimately getting your hands dirty is the best way.

Write a book.

Anki for sure. Create the cards yourself, using sentences that you encounter consuming the language.

I can't say the experience seems all that much different from riding through clouds at 2300 metres of elevation.
