I love painting the pillars of creation 😌

Digital painting of an iconic Hubble image of the Pillars of Creation. A dense region of deep red gas and dust rises in the center of the frame like a hand with 3 long pillars. The nebula is framed by blues and greens with light pink stars. Three pillars move diagonally from left to right. The whole painting has a checkerboard pattern alternating in color schemes. Squares with orange and blue-grey are the nebula in mid-infrared light. Squares in vibrant purple where the nebula is light purple grey and dotted with many stars add in near-infrared light. Both images were taken by JWST and combined for the painting.
