Just thinking about the buggy system, the grasshopper would be a cool addition :) So would a dragonfly (hovering low over the ground when riding). I hope to see the return of some of the previous ones like wasps, firefly, roly poly, beetle, and new ones, would be nice to get a big diverse roster!

It all sounds like pleasing stakeholders to me.
"Here's a new game, that'll get people to the ecosystem."
"Here's a new studio, that'll get people interested."
"We just let go 9100 people and closed a studio, that'll save us some money."
Of course devs are going to struggle with these shenanigans.
