Trump has played this song at multiple rallies. He doens't understand the lyrics and just hears the Fortunate Son part and thinks that's him, I'm fortunate. The sad part is most of his followers don't know the meaning of the song either.

Not true. One of the purposes of the electoral college was to prevent an illinformed pulic from electingsomeone wholey unqualified from being elected to the office. Twice in our history they have failed to prevent this, illustrating yet again that the electoral college is pointless.

And the follow up question should have been "no court has determined he's a criminal. Why won't you give him his day in court which is afforded by the constitution." The complicity by everyone around him, including the news, is disheartening.

Are they paying him directly? It's bad enough that he's doing thus amd the money goes to the US treasury, but should be grounds for impeachment if he's pocketing it all.

I switched away from NPR because of the disgusting speech allowed to be aired. It's one thing to air the inaugural speech, but that rally speech was just one hateful statement after another.
