Not too many, the body are 4 pieces, 2 cilindres to do the roll and the connectors + wheel (11 pieces). The belt is a funny one, it has 21 pieces per section and it uses 4 sections. The joints are nicely printed in my Bambu A1 mini, so it becomes flexible immediately after printing.

The known ecosystem, like the people I see in SLAS, makes me wonder: do they have the power (opinion on budget power) to promote more automation in the company? If not, they should. It can be very focused automation, e.g. 2 cart module, but they need to start somewhere.

Companies should stop thinking having even one person thinking in automation and looking for options as a sunken cost. The previous observation says that startup people are smart people, but overloaded, so searching of automation tech gets down in the priority list (both brain and budget, if ever)

I agree with Jake. When I watched this post on the other site, I was surprised by the number of people not knowing about Gingko’s magnetotraction system for plate movement (i knew this from Will Serber earlier this year in Denmark)
