Attended the No Gas Plant Coalition meeting this evening...a big priority for this upcoming legislative session is to get a bill passed that requires data centers to provide their own (clean) power; they're also looking to get bills through promoting rooftop solar (housing, commercial, parking lots)

When politicians say high speed rail is too costly, they’re lying. What stands in the way are capitulation to those companies who stand to lose from efficient mass transit (*cough*Big Oil*cough) and selective NIMBYism.

Richmond DSA will be holding it’s monthly General Meeting this coming Thursday, 6pm at Gold Lion Community Cafe to discuss the recently approved rental inspection program, efforts to rebuff the city’s attempts to weaken collective bargaining rights of RPS employees, and other issues. #RVA

No matter what the results tonight, the hard work goes on regardless. Spanberger will need to be pushed to restrict data centers and make it easier to build out renewable energy infrastructure
