It's such a strange moment in my life because I didn't believe in ghosts before that night and if you ask me now if I believe in ghosts I'd still say no, but I would REALLY LIKE AN EXPLANATION for what we all saw and experienced because what the hell?

Everyone else laughed nervously; we couldn’t find a way to talk about it without all sounding insane. The party died. I never went back to that house.

I was locked in place for about 10 seconds. Then I blinked, the figure popped out of existence, the air pressure returned to normal, my goosebumps settled.
I turned back to my friends and they were all staring at the same corner. One person said, “What the FUCK was that?” and immediately left.

…felt a sudden, clawing chill run up my back and tense around my head. The air pressure seemed to increase. I turned away from the TV and saw, in the corner of the room, a silhouette about five feet tall, human-shaped. No detail at all; it was a black and lightless space.
