Christian’s are disliked because they attempt to codify harm to & discrimination against others, removal of individual rights, hoarding resources & withholding services as acceptable based on their religion. Their dominionistic beliefs which claim they define reality are why they are distrusted

“we aren’t seen as the good guys” has everything to do with their behaviors which cross consent, punish those who don’t follow their beliefs & their overt intent to form “Christian” laws & governance are all why.
