what i think i mean is for me genre is a bit of a societal construction that can be naturally very fluid and it makes no sense being any other way - why does everything have to fit into a particular box, right?

masculine looking apparel into my style, i identify with being a woman and always have - though one who will wear lots of makeup and ties or masculine suits (i used to pinch some of my father's and grandfather's stuff, growing up...)

this is such an interesting topic. growing up and even now i was always either very feminine (not girly, feminine, for me there's a huge difference) or a bit of a tomboy. as a child i would be Luke Skywalker instead of Leia, but then as a teen i'd do make up and fashion to extremes.
