We did some planting in the garden today. We planted two kinds of peas and two kinds of carrots. First 13 and Maxigolt shelling peas. Kaleidescope and purple haze carrots. The Maxigolt is our only repeat. #zone7b #gardening

I was happily using my 80 peg small gauge loom and a silky acrylic yarn. Was going slow but ok until I did what I believe is called "dropped a stitch." I frogged it and will use this yarn when I'm better on this loom. #loomknitting #knitsky

finished this hurdle stitch in chunky acrylic yarn today. The color is "primary", which cracks me up because while I love green, it's not a primary color. I forgot to measure but it's my arm span. Played yarn chicken and won. #knitsky #loomknitting

First day of March we started of our first round of seeds. Eventually these go in the back yard. Oldest kiddo wrote the signs. Some of these seeds are the exact same as last year, some new. Looking forward to growing plants to eat! #zone7b #gardening #kcagg

Decided to wind up this big twist value white acrylic yarn, I got one great big ball done and then it yarn barfed. But in the end I only lost that little bit of yarn in the front. I got it all caked up. All six ounces. I am a goddess today. #knitsky

Never ever try to make a yarn ball from something already on a loom. Whoops. At least it was an easily un-windable ball. Learned a valuable lesson. #knitsky
