Church/choral musician (alto), massive opera nerd, surtitle operator, and project planner working in public transport. Idiots not tolerated. She/her.
There is one single demographic at the centre of the Venn diagram of “people who want to look at 11-year-olds in leotards” and “people who don’t think bad thoughts about 11-year-olds in leotards”, and that demographic is: other 11-year-olds who wish THEY were at the Royal Ballet School.

“Little_dancer_xxxx - Year 7 White Lodge - parent-managed account”… I mean I’m sure these ballet parents have considered who might be looking at their children’s public Instagram photos… and then decided it’s fine… 😒

Well this is *great* info. Thank you!

It should also filter out all the pics of little girls in leotards that end up in my feed when I start following adult dancers from the Royal Ballet School as they join the company.

I’m not the most concerning person to be getting kids-in-leos content, but… 😬

I do admittedly find pregnancy and birth stuff - i.e. the anatomical processes involved - absolutely fascinating (always have done, despite wanting 0 children) but for a random-topic-I-find-interesting it is RIDICULOUSLY prevalent on my feed.

I’ve yet to post any original content on Insta. I don’t know how it works. I’m a words person, not a pictures person. But I do get involved in comment threads and it’s now an active part of my social media life.

(“Dear” meaning “expensive” isn’t in universal usage in English, but it’s still a well-known term, more prevalent in some regional dialects than others.)

Yes - “expensive” and “dear” are synonyms, and I always assumed it was something to do with the common root.

In much the same way as whenever somebody mocks Zack’s teeth, I think he should promote a return to free NHS dentistry!

(And yes, I know there’s a typo in the name of the “anthem”.)

I didn’t even have to look closely to recognise what this is!
