I'm so glad this research is being done. There's a lot of people who are afraid to make that choice about becoming a parent as they're concerned about increased Burnout

'It seems like we're missing each other's meaning right now, I'm gonna come back to this later'. It really helps a lot, as most people are bad at spotting when they're dysregulated and unable to process new information. Coming back to it later when everyone's calmer is a lot easier

I'm Autistic and work as a therapist with Autistic folks. In my personal life I try to spot the moment where communication has broken down, and, if a clarifying question doesn't resolve things I pause the urge to re explain or over explain, and instead say..

Yup! Dyspraxic, dyslexic, AuDHDer here, Audiobooks are a life saver, to my mental health and also expanding my learning as a therapist. I'm about to complete my 40 books for 2024 target because of audiobooks. Only about 4 of those were paper books
